Porting to Godot
After some consideration I have decided to move the game to Godot and to make it 2.5D, I think this will create a unique aesthetic for the game that will make it shine more compared to other 2D space-games. I want the game to feel special also in the screenshots so I really believe this is the way even if that implies the development is going to take more. Hopefully in a couple of days I will have already the same features I already had coded in the previous engine i was doing the game.

Welcome to Astrolaria
Astrolaria is a 4X Space RTS where players will control a emergent empire, the game will simulate a whole galaxy with its planets, stars, resources etc..
Most cool thing? It will be totally free in web browser and it will have paid mobile versions
The galaxies and planets are procedurally generated and right now you can see a couple of screenshots here.
The idea will be that the web version will have a fixed seed, so the generated galaxies will be always the same and the playable empire will be always the same. That will be the only limitatation that the paid mobile versions wont have, that way we will cover the develop expenses.
